Transitioning to Microsoft Authentication for La Sierra Canva Accounts

Follow these instructions to transition your La Sierra Canva account to Microsoft authentication.

1. Click the “Log in” button at the top-right corner of the screen.

2. Click “Continue another way”. This should show you the “Continue with Microsoft” option.

   • 

3. Enter your La Sierra email. When prompted, enter your password.

   • 

   • If you are already logged in, just choose the account from the selection screen and follow the prompts.

     • 

   • You should be prompted to authenticate via Microsoft Authenticator. For more information on this, see the Microsoft Authenticator article under Using Microsoft 365.

     • 

4. You’ll need to accept the permissions for Canva to access your Microsoft account. Click “Accept” to continue.

   • 

5. For the first time login, you’ll be prompted to verify your email account.

   • 

   • Check your La Sierra email, you should receive an email with a one-time passcode. Use this code and follow the prompts given to you by Canva.

     • 

6. You should now be at the Canva home screen. If successful, you’ll see your projects have migrated over from your old account, if applicable.
